Refund & Cancellation Policy – Triprova.in

Triprova.in, operated by Homestay India, aims to provide a transparent and hassle-free booking experience. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms applicable to cancellations, changes, and refunds for all travel services booked through our platform.


1. General Policy

  • Cancellation and refund policies vary depending on airlines, hotels, and other service providers.
  • All cancellations must be requested through Triprova.in or our customer support.
  • Refund eligibility depends on the terms and conditions of the respective service provider.
  • Convenience fees, service charges, and payment gateway charges may be non-refundable.

2. Flight Bookings

  • Airline cancellation and refund rules will apply to all flight tickets.
  • Refundable tickets may be canceled subject to airline charges.
  • Non-refundable tickets may not be eligible for refunds, except applicable taxes (as per airline policy).
  • Rescheduling or date changes may incur additional charges and fare differences.
  • Refund timelines depend on the airline and may take 7–21 working days after approval.

3. Hotel Bookings

  • Cancellation policies vary by hotel and rate type (refundable / non-refundable).
  • Free cancellation (if applicable) must be done within the specified time.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may result in full or partial charges.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after confirmation from the hotel.

4. Holiday Packages

  • Cancellation charges depend on the package type and timing of cancellation.
  • Standard cancellation charges may include:
    • 25% of total cost (15–30 days before travel)
    • 50% of total cost (7–15 days before travel)
    • 100% of total cost (within 7 days or no-show)
  • Any non-refundable components (flights, permits, bookings) will be deducted.

5. Car Rental & Bus Bookings

  • Cancellation rules depend on the respective operator.
  • Last-minute cancellations or no-shows may not be eligible for refunds.
  • Partial refunds may apply based on operator policies.

6. Refund Process

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method whenever possible.
  • Processing time may vary depending on banks, payment gateways, and service providers.
  • In some cases, refunds may be issued as credit vouchers (if agreed).

7. Service Charges

  • Triprova.in may charge a service or processing fee for cancellations or modifications.
  • These charges are separate from airline, hotel, or operator fees.

8. No-Show Policy

  • Failure to use the booked service without prior cancellation will be treated as a no-show.
  • No refunds will be provided in such cases.

9. Force Majeure

  • No refunds or limited refunds may be applicable in case of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or strikes.
  • Refunds in such cases will depend on the policies of respective service providers.

10. Amendment Policy

  • Changes to bookings (date, name, service type) are subject to availability and additional charges.
  • Some bookings may not be amendable.
